Born December 12, 1962, Jeffrey N.
Schatzman is a native of Miami, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of
Florida in 1986 and his J.D. degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law
School in Lansing, Michigan in 1989. He is a member of The Florida Bar
and is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts as well
as the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Middle
Districts of Florida. He is a member of the Bankruptcy Bar
Association for the Southern District of Florida and the
Commercial Law League of America. Mr.
Schatzman has held numerous positions within
the CLLA, including one term on the League's Board of
Governors;
Chair, Chair-Elect, Treasurer and Secretary of the Young Members' Section; three terms on the Executive Council of the
Young Members' Section; three terms on the Executive Council of the
Southern District; and Chair of the Young Members' Section
Educational and Mentor Committees. He is a member of the Creditors Rights
Section and was recently elected to a three year term on the Executive Council
of the Bankruptcy Section. Mr. Schatzman frequently lectures on the topics of bankruptcy and creditors'
rights and is in charge of the firm's collection
and bankruptcy practices.
